Can't recommend this cottage highly enough. The photographs do not do it justice. Beautiful decor and very, very clean. The owner, Tom is very nice and helpful. The larder cupboard was stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, sauces and some dry goods to use and also milk in the fridge. The kitchen and dining area are well laid out and have everything you need. Great view at the dining table of the countryside. Everything was spotless. The facilities in the cottage are excellent with a beautiful bathroom that has separate bath and shower cubicle. There are 2 showers within the cubicle, one electric and one that runs from the hot water tank. You can have them both running simultaneously. There is also a second toilet. The living room has a decent size TV with built in freeview but there is also a freesat box. You can bring your own sky box and use the satellite aerial from the freesat. The bedrooms are all a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The garden to the front is a nice big grassed area which is great for your dogs. The side and back are stone and very tidy with nice furniture and bbq facilities. Plenty of parking space. The location is perfect for exploring the Inishowen peninsula as it is quite central.

I thought this was a fantastic cottage and great value for money. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit further out of the way than we expected but we settled in and it was never a problem. A great spot to stay if visiting Malin Head. The garden could do with a little work. Small dogs could get through the fence that runs along the driveway and the grass area wasn’t very clean. I saw the neighbours dog pay a visit! I would not let this put me off though and would thoroughly recommend.
