Visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay or Llandudno, with the Great Orme headland jutting out into the Irish Sea. Ride on the cable cars or visit the dry ski slope and toboggan run. Conwy, a medieval walled town with its famous castle and Plas Mawr, beautiful Betws-y-Coed, Swallow Falls and Anglesey are also within easy reach. Every stay in this area should include a visit to Surf Snowdonia, the world’s first artificial surfing lake. Shopping in the historic city of Chester or Liverpool is a short drive away. Walking, beaches, zoos, golf, fishing, castles, gardens and outdoor pursuits. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    Lovely cottage, located in a peaceful and central spot for visiting places of interest. The owners of the cottage were friendly and welcoming and we were delighted with the milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits which were awaiting us as on arrival.

    Lovely cottage, well maintained and clean. Owner friendly and helpful, had provided milk in the fridge and biscuits on arrival.
