A nice holiday cottage which needs some tlc and more attention to cleanliness. Unfortunately we had to clean up broken glass on kitchen floor and in driveway (children had glass splinters in feet on more than one occasion). Overall cottage makes a comfortable holiday home.

A lovely clean tidy cottage. Slight problem with damp and the twin room bedroom door would not close. The area and surroundings were good for visiting lots of places.

Lovely bungalow in good location with all amenities. However extras like towel hire and fuel supplement are annoying and should be inc in headline price for fair comparison

Second visit. Nice and clean when we arrived. Milk & biscuits to welcome us which was appreciated. Good heating and plenty of hot water. Beds comfy and well equipped kitchen wise. Good base for getting around Anglesey and mainland.

Just a short walk to the beach at Red Wharf bay this bungalow is in an ideal location. It is also near the main road that takes you to other villages such as Benllech (beautiful Sandy beach) and Moelfre (very interesting with RNLI station appearing on Rescue at Sea and a heritage centre). Famous Ship Inn within walking distance but Boat House nearby also good for food or snacks. Bungalow well equipped but a little dated. Nevertheless it is quiet and comfortable and clean.

We stayed with our Aunt from Monday to the Friday. The place was very nice. There was a bit of damp but, we put that down to there being no air bricks or we couldn't see any. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeder. You need a car if you want to have a holiday on Anglesey to get to the shops.

it was dirty, cobwebs and dust everywhere, even found a previous guests socks down the bottom of the bed, main bedrooms bed shook every time you got in and out of it. the shower was a waste of time as water pressure non existent. cottage was extremely damp something that isn't good for an asthmatic guest, you could see it all over wall paper, very dissapointing and probably worst holiday cottage ever stayed in due to damp and dirt.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner. We were sorry to hear that our cottage didn't meet your expectations and find it hard to believe it is dirty and seems to be out of line with other guests reviews. We have full trust in the caretaker who I believe you met and was very rude to. The problem with the shower, which wasn't a problem, was reported to us by the agent on Friday, the day before you were due to leave. We did ask them why the guest hadn't phoned us earlier so that someone could have gone in and sorted it out. We alway tell the guests to phone us if they need anything. The caretaker went into the cottage after 10 am on Saturday, when it should have been empty, to do the changeover, so as to be ready for the next guests. She told us you were sat on the settee having a cup of tea saying you weren't leaving until you had finished your tea. So it can't have been so bad if you were in no rush to leave. The caretaker said that's fine and went to look at the shower, it operated as it should the pressure was ok and there was no problem. She was asked how did you do that, and suggested that the water pipes in the property were to small, as most of us know water pipes throughout the UK are a standard size, as also explained by your husband whilst the caretaker was there. Ours are no different. The caretaker found no evidence of damp.
