A lovely cottage, very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine, and there was more than enough in the way of kitchen utensils. Was advised when we arrived the WiFi was a bit slow, but we never had problems with it. Amazing views, in a quiet location, nothing really within walking distance but lots to see and do within short car rides. On the downside, the sofa cushions had dog hairs on, and smells of dog, it really needs cleaning and deodorising, and the owners 2 dogs kept hanging around us when we were out on the private patio area, and 1 of them kept coming into the cottage by both the back and front doors, it would have been nicer if the areas were fenced off.

We enjoyed our break at the twin barns very much. Had everything we needed and were able to take the dog with us. The owner is very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. The sun came out so we were able to sit out on the patio area and enjoy the views. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in somerset.

A really nice, cosy cottage with friendly, helpful but unobtrusive owners, ideally situated for exploring the Mendips (excellent walks at Dolebury Warren, Ebbor Gorge etc). Car essential for local amenities. Maya, our Border Collie, appreciated the underfloor heating !
