Very charming old house with fantastic patio and garden. Well equipped, very cosy. At least the beds and the mattresses in the two-bed-room should be replaced. Ideally situated in Romsey, near to several (good) pubs and restaurants. Fantastic surroundings (New Forest, seaside, esp. Hurst Castle).

Spacious interesting and quirky period cottage in close proximity to the centre of a beautiful market town. Very well equipped and a large garden to the rear. We had 3 young children with us and they loved it. The only real downside was the on street parking which was difficult to secure a space near to the property. This wasn’t too much of an issue given that everything else was more than adequate

Old cottage in nice village. However, very dusty and not clean, no privacy in house when below room is also rented and no privacy in shared garden. It's a pity that their is no real comfort of garden furniture. The whole cottage just missed the right ingredients to make it comfortable.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; The cottage is 500 years old. The patina of the beams and Tudor brickwork must be preserved. The house and studio apartment are always kept very clean. The studio suite is rented separately but can be reserved to ensure total privacy for the whole house and exclusive use of the very large garden (the largest garden in the centre of town). Some of the older garden furniture is to be replaced before next season.
