Lovely house in a beautiful location, very spacious and perfect for a large family holiday of several generations. The upstairs library/sitting room was stunning and the best room in the house. Well equipped playroom and good outdoor play area for children. The house is a bit more remote than expected with the local amenities being a good few miles away. In need of updating, unfortunately the beds are very uncomfortable and mattresses need replacing as they offer no support, the sofas in the living room also in need of replacing due to being rock hard to sit on. This did not take away from the house being stunning. There was plenty of room, the master bedroom was fabulous with a beautiful en suite bathroom. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of seating for all the guests. The views are stunning and it was lovely to sit out, looking at the surrounding scenery and watching the wildlife.

We have just had a wonderful holiday with our children and their children. Suitable for all age ranges. Children could make as much noise as they liked without upsetting the neighbours. Only downside was internet was a bit patchy.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home. We were looking for a ‘get away from it’ house to relax and we certainly found it here. Super views and such a fabulous book collection. We had three lovely sheep visit overnight, one even knocking on the door! A good selection of wild birds visited especially when we filled the feeders up. We played jingle bells on the lovely piano before bed each night (as that is all we could play ?). The heating was spot on and although the wood burners were lovely we did not need to use them. A great use of space in the house and fabulous mix of old and new building.

Beautiful house in a stunning location. The owner has taken so much trouble to think of everything that might be needed and everything about the house is of a very high standard. We immediately felt at home and having so many books and games to while away evenings by the fire was a wonderful bonus. Its a great place for a family gathering and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.
