Two sandy beaches can be found within a 30-minute walk and the highlights of West Cornwall are all within a short drive, including St Ives, Sennen, Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount and the Minack Theatre. The village has the Levant and Geevor tin mines, Pendeen lighthouse, a fish and chip shop, pubs and a store selling fresh bread, eggs, fruit and veg, and logs within walking distance.
St Just with its independent shops, galleries and cafés is 10 minutes away. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane with a regular service linking St Ives, Penzance and St Just. The 7 mile coastal road between the cottage and St Ives is one of the most scenic in the UK, excellent for cycling or driving and passes the traditional village of Zennor with its famous ice cream parlour and world class climbing at Bosigran. Sennen has a surf school and year-round dog friendly beaches. There really is something for everyone. See @trepl.evna on Instagram for more photos. Beach 1½ miles. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 1 mile.
