Penzance, 9 miles, offers day trips to the Isles of Scilly, cinema, tennis and riding. Perfect for exploring the delights of Cornwall. Within easy driving distance is Cornwall’s well-known National Trust property, St Michael’s Mount at Marazion, well worth a visit. Many attractions to suit all visitors including walks along the coastal paths, many sandy beaches and, of course, Land’s End. Eden Project and Trago Mills 50-minute drive. Shop and pub ¼ mile.

    An excellent house overall. We will definitely come back. Loved the games room and great kitchen and dinning space. Beds were very comfortable and the house very toasty warm. If we were being critical we would say that the house needs a good deep clean as in someplaces it is a bit grubby.

    Hayle was not a pretty Cornish coastal town but it was well placed for trips to the many beautiful beaches

    We had a lovely week at Trelawn. The house is very big and we had lots of space for the 11 people staying. The only slight negative is the outside furniture is very worn, the garden, whilst very pretty, was unusuable for the most part. We only used the table which was quite rickety when sitting on. There is full sky tv package that is not advertised, along with a games room with pool and darts etc. Fab kitchen with everything you could possibly need, although not many spare cupboards to store food! Also there was a broken step by the conservatory that we noticed as soon as we arrived but this was not fixed during our stay as advisef, and my Dad fell down it-luckily the wine he had consumed cushioned the blow! Beach is close by, although I recommend driving to the car park by the Bluff in to park to access the beach as the pathway they talk about when walking is very steep and very much hard work! All in all we would return if the furnishings both inside and out were updated.

    fantastic. It has everything you could need. So well equipped. You name it - it has it. Spotlessly clean. Detached in amongst other houses but very secluded by the marvelous way the gardens have been arranged. The garage has been converted into a games room with pool table, dartboard, PC + printer, playstation + TV. Just a 10 minute walk into Hayle which goes past the kiddies playground - much enjoyed many times by our two grandsons. 4 pubs in Hayle. All pretty good and well used by us. Also another in the other direction uphill in Phillack called "The Bucket of Blood". Location is excellent for the South West area of Cornwall. Half hour drive to St. Ives or Marazion (for St. Michael's Mount). Hour's drive to Land's End. Also plenty of buses to everywhere. Recommend "Chandler's Plaice" fish & chip shop for take away. Used it twice. Down the hill, turn right and just along on the left. We rang our order in on both days and picked it up 20 minutes later. Their menu is on the web. Hayle has a large "Asda", a "LIDL", "West Cornwall Shopping Village" and a McDonalds plus most of the pubs do food. The five of us plus our two grandsons had a wonderful week.
