Another wonderful stay at the Stables. Even in wet weather it’s a great venue, with lots of indoor things to visit, and a great drying room if you’re happy getting wet.

My wife, dog and myself stayed here for 6 nights on the 30th August. We all loved it. Everything was provided and the cottage is finished to an extremely high standard. Gill, the owner, couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful; nothing was too much trouble. There are lovely walks in the area and a lovely pub about a minute’s walk away. There are plenty of places to visit all within 30minutes drive away. Thanks for making our break so relaxing and enjoyable, we will definitely be returning!!!

We had an amazing week at Stable Cottage, perfect in every way and we were blessed by the weather. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as it’s in a beautiful location with easy access to many interesting places, walks from the doorstep and a great local pub. Beautiful furnished, attention to detail and loads of space. Thank you Gill and Trevor for sharing your little piece of heaven with us and for the treats - the walled garden is wonderful you’ve put so much work into it. Cassie our dog loved her stay too. We’ll see you again soon.

Stable Cottage is an exceptional holiday rental property. Immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious with an especially fabulous bathroom. It is in a pretty village, with a dog friendly pub within easy walking distance. The views from the Cottage are lovely and the large, walled garden that the owner has created from scratch is simply stunning. The dogs loved it and the securely fenced garden area to the front meant we could let them go outside without concern. The owners, Gill and Trevor, are helpful and friendly without being in the least intrusive. In short, we had a brilliant stay here and would highly recommend it.

You will not find a better cottage for rent, everything is high quality and well layed out. We didn't get the best weather so a trip to Portsmouth was well worth the drive. You can also drive to the New Forest which is fairly close. Thanks Gill for you attention to detail.

Stable cottage was everything you could want on a cottage holiday. The cottage itself was amazing, very spacious plenty of room for my husband and myself and our two dogs. Plenty of outside space too, the views are beautiful. Gill the owner was really helpful. There are plenty of places to visit, we went across to the Isle of Wight on the ferry which we found very interesting and will definitely be going back. I can't recommend this cottage enough, we will definitely be going back.

This is a lovely cottage, beautifully situated in the heart of lovely rolling countryside, but within easy reach of well-populated places like Petersfield, Winchester, Southampton, Fareham... The cottage manages to combine spaciousness with cosiness, and is real treat in a modern conversion. I particularly liked the owner's attention to details in environmental aspects, and look forward to returning at a different time of year. Having said that, cold winter days are no trouble for this cottage, and the underfloor heating feels wonderful on cold toes!
