This was a lovely cottage with an amazing view. The standard was exceptionally high, the crockery and utensils in the kitchen were excellent. I cooked meals a few times and did not want for anything. The beds were comfy, good bed linen and towels. The owners very kindly left a welcome pack plus provided everything for the dishwasher and washing machine. The cottage is quite isolated which is perfect for us. In a great location for Shieldaig and Applecross. Really close to Torridon. A stunning part of the country. The water is from a local source and is brown. It tastes fine but I bought bottled water for the kettle. Not sure if I had to! I would definitely return, my thanks to the owners for letting us stay in their wonderful cottage.

We stayed for a week in August. We travel around a lot and this cottage was probably the best equipped and most comfortable of all. Everything provided in the cottage was of top quality and the views from the cottage across the loch were stunning. Kenny and Linda were perfect but unobstrusive hosts. The location is isolated and beautiful and guests should be prepared for that. If you like fantastic scenery , friendly people , walking , fishing or any other outdoor pursuits then this is the place to be.

This cottage is perfect if you like peace and quiet and beautiful scenery. It's a bit remote which was the reason we chose it and it lived up to all our expectations. we wouldn't hesitate to go again.
