Really enjoyed it. There is a slight problem with the heating, control seems to be elsewhere. Otherwise the stay was excellent.

This cottage is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The host was kind enough to leave us with a bottle of wine and some snacks which was a lovely touch. The only thing I would improve on this property is that it does not have a shower but only a bath which is unfortunate. All in all the few days we spent here were lovely. Buxton is a gorgeous town and this apartment is walking distance from everything so it was the perfect location to both explore the town and the surrounding areas for walking. Despite the lack of shower I would very happily stay here again.

This little apartment is in a great location for all Buxton has to offer, it's clean, well equipped and has ample parking space. Because it's a basement flat however, it's chilly, even in August and there is no possibility of controlling the heating yourself. The heating was on when we got there and came on a couple of other days for a short period but not every day. Likewise the water was sometimes hot but sometimes only luke warm and with no shower this was a problem to fill the bath. WiFi was OK though. Overall I wouldn't book this apartment again but it wasn't terrible.
