This is an ideal romantic retreat for a couple looking for a peaceful holiday, whilst myriad attractions are within easy reach.

Thie Ollee holiday cottage is a typical Manx cottage, set in the idyllic village of Glen Maye. It is within easy walking distance to the shore and glens. A public telephone (using Manx Telecom phone cards), is situated in the village. The nearest shops are in Peel which is approximately 3 miles away. There are many excellent places to eat, either within a 6 mile radius of Glen Maye, or you could go further afield if you prefer. This is lovely walking and cycling country, but still only 30 minutes’ drive from the island capital, Douglas, where you can find a sports centre, swimming pool, cinemas, night clubs and more. Your own transport is advisable as buses from Glen Maye are not very frequent. This small Manx cottage is the perfect bolthole for those looking to getaway from the hustle and bustle. Stoney beach 2/3 mile and sandy beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

All on the ground floor.
Living/dining room: With 24" Freeview TV.

In a beautiful valley, but dark, owing to surrounding trees, and no views. Quiet and peaceful, though. Very very small - contortions needed to enter bathroom!

First visit to the Isle of Man. Good location for exploring from. Excellent walks for our dog. Very quiet and peaceful. Will use again. Excellent welcome and Scones! Shame pub has closed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was in a lovely situation, peaceful but not far from amenities. A well equipped kitchen and everything we needed in a holiday cottage. The owners were friendly and helpful and our retriever was welcome as well. We would certainly recommend it.

A wonderful little house, set in a peaceful enclave. It has absolutely everything needed for a break away from home. We loved the welcoming fresh flowers and the welcome pack of milk , bread, home made jam, eggs and cakes. The kitchens had all mod cons.the owner made us feel at home and was warm and welcoming. It seemed like a little place between the present and Manx past. We would love to Stay again, even though the shower room was tiny. But that caused much merriment between us which only added to the pleasure of our stay.
