The area here is surrounded by fabulous walks along miles of golden sandy beaches and dunes peppered with castles and friendly villages. Alnwick with the majestic castle is only a few miles’ drive where you can discover the cobbled streets and visit the castle used in some Harry Potter and Downton Abbey scenes.
Seahouses is a quaint seaside town with a working harbour, offering boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the bird sanctuary and spot seals and puffins. Northumberland beaches are unspoilt, and you can always find an empty beach along this wonderful Heritage coastline.
