Plus points: Lovely, comfortable and very clean cottage. Minus points: It is on the main road and very traffic noisy in the house and garden.

Cottage was very pleasant, but some basic equipment not provided, e.g. hairdryers, microwave cooking containers. Not shown around cottage on arrival, key left under mat for us. Milk, flowers, chocolate and wine were a pleasant welcome gift though. Access road and drive entrance very narrow with poor visibility of other traffic.

No complaints at all! Bound to award 2 '9's because there was a slight leak through the ceiling at one point - the owner came round within the day to see to it, so thank you very much! And there were no coasters in the bedroom, so one had the temptation to put down teacups on the nice wood fittings! however we dealt with this with beer mats! Nice and comfortable in very cold conditions - frost on car most mornings!

This is the fourth occasion on which we have stayed at The Water Tower. It is a lovely well equipped holiday cottage made especially delightful by the welcoming touches. We could not hope to find better accommodation in the Bearsted area.

The Water Tower was charming. There was sufficient equipment for the four of us in the kitchen. Despite the toaster not working and the halogen cooker being very slow. The beds were comfortable, but the floors ans stairs creaked terribly, which I suppose added to the charm but annoying in the middle of the night. Shower head needed desca ling and no lock on the bathroom door. Little things we know, but disappointing
