Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. Lovely countryside, with plenty to do. The pub was friendly and had good quality food. Only a 4 minute walk.

We had a lovely welcome and stay at the Wagon House, accommodation is excellent, the barn has been converted to a high standard and the kitchen is well equipped. The little touches like the flowers and welcome gift of wine, bread, milk and eggs were greatly appreciated. The village is very quiet, no shops, but there is a pub if you want to eat out, and a pop up cafe on Wednesday’s. There are also plenty of coffee shops and pubs in the surrounding villages. The owners are very friendly and knowledgable of the area, suggesting places to visit and where to shop.

A beautiful barn conversion, stylishly decorated and well equipped. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Fresh bread, eggs, butter, milk and a bottle of wine were a lovely touch. The property is isolated and there are no shops in the immediate area and so this was very useful. The views from the property are beautiful and the peace and quiet is just what we needed. The only thing I can fault is the shower which is irratic in its supply of hot water. We will be back I am sure

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We have now addressed this intermittent problem by installing a shower thermostatic mixer tap.

We loved staying at the Wagon House. The snow made the countryside even more beautiful. Lorna and Alan were extremely kind and helpful.

It was a lovely location, ideal if you want to stay somewhere quiet. The owners were very friendly and informative. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. We were provided with some excellent quality wine , eggs , bread etc which we really appreciated. We also found the local pub/ restaurant, to be very friendly and within easy walking distance.

We had a relaxing and peaceful stay here. The cottage was excellent, very well equipped and lots of things to do on the doorstep and slightly further afield.
