Occupying an ideal location in a quiet area midway between Whitland and Tavernspite, The Vestry offers warm and homely accommodation on the Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire border.

The Vestry is ideal for romantic couples who enjoy spending time together in the country. However, this isn’t your usual run of the mill cottage - with a cosy living space that’s complemented by a wood burner on the first floor and a spacious bedroom on the ground floor, The Vestry is a quirky, detached cottage that’s full of surprises. The compact kitchen and breakfast area are also upstairs, and the bedroom leads into an exceptional en-suite bathroom, with a slipper bath and a large shower. There is a grass area in the graveyard behind the property with a picnic table which guests are welcome to use.

Close to the well-kept town of Narberth, both properties are within walking distance of a well-known local ice cream parlour and café/restaurant. The views from the lane look out towards the Preseli Hills, and there’s the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the National Trust site Colby Woodland Garden both within 5 miles. The beaches of Amroth, Pendine and Saundersfoot are between 6 and 10 miles away, and for fun-loving familes there is Oakwood Theme Park, watersports and Folly Farm nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

The Vestry can be booked together with The Chapel (UK6037) to accommodate up to 6 guests.

Very well renovated property which is extremely well equipped. Lovely welcome pack arrival! Quite remote location, need to travel couple of miles to get to any facilities...shops etc. Very cosy and comfortable.

The Vestry is beautifully restored, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break. All the kitchen equipment is good quality and there are some lovely, homely touches. It really is the perfect cosy place in which to unwind. It’s also spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed! The hosts are lovely and helpful, the surrounding countryside beautiful and stunning beaches and places to visit not far away. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this cottage.

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Very peaceful, but only a 10 minute drive from all local amenities, and lots of great days out within half hour. The cottage it’s self is beautifully equip, only improvement would be some new chopping knives as they are a bit worn (we love cooking). Richard and Sarah were both welcoming and helpful both before and during our stay, without being overbearing. Will definitely be coming back, and recommending to all our friends.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing cottage. Stayed for 3 nights with my partner, I've stayed in over 30 cottages with cottages.com, this is definitely one of the best. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary and we are so happy to have stayed in such a beautiful little place! We arrived to a lovely welcome of milk, eggs, butter and welsh cakes. There was a stair gate to use to keep the dogs out of the bedroom. The house was spotless, warm, cozy and so characterful. We have recommended this lovely little cottage to friends and family. The only downside, and this would be mainly due to the activities and towns we wanted to visit, is that you do need to use the car for the majority of the time - if like us you want to go out out. However, for shorter stays and couples who just want to lock the doors and stay in this is just perfect! We would 100% stay again and would also like to book the old chapel next door!! Thank you for sharing your space :)
