Description

Wisteria Lodge is an ideal choice for a family or group of friends to enjoy a break away.

These two luxury properties sit in the pretty village of Inkberrow, which is known as the setting for the long running BBC Radio 4’s serial, ’The Archers’. The adjoining properties are accessed via double electric gates and have been lovingly converted from their old use of a Tythe Barn, and each has its own character. The Tythe Barn has been furnished with fantastic antique furniture giving a great level of comfort for guests. Wisteria Lodge has been given a contemporary look and equally gives guests a most comfortable stay, both accommodating 8 guests. Two bedrooms in each property have en-suite facilities, with the two remaining bedrooms each sharing a family bathroom. These properties are an ideal place to get together with family and friends and explore the surrounding area.
Inkberrow has the perfect landscape for walking on the many footpaths around the village, cycling along the lanes, rambling or horse riding on the numerous bridleways. Visit Coughton Court, one of the great Tudor Houses and Ragley Hall Park and Gardens, both 5 miles away. The village is nestled between Worcester, 12 miles away, Redditch, 8 miles, Stratford-upon-Avon, 13 miles, Alcester, 6 miles, Pershore, 10 miles and Evesham, 8 miles, all available via a local taxi service for those who prefer not to drive. It’s also a great base to take trips to the Cotswolds, Birmingham, Wales and the West Country. A custom made local guide with more than 60 places to visit is available in each property as well as a copy of the local Ordnance Survey Maps for walkers, with 10 prepared routes.
The Tythe Barn (ref: UKC1380) and Wisteria Lodge (ref: UKC1381) can be booked together to accommodate up to 16 guests.

Wisteria Lodge was exceptionally clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. A few things were missing but replaced at once by the very caring and helpful owners. Wisteria Lodge is an old building but has been renovated to a very high (5*) modern standard. It is well located in the village, with two pubs to go to, and a wonderful local store, which is open long hours. The owners supply an information sheet of places to go in the immediate area and further afield. This was most welcome and a mine of information. Through the information pack we discovered the Needle Museum in Redditch - a hidden treasure, well worth a visit. Any problems or information required was sorted at once by the owners. A highly recommended property.

We stayed here for 3 nights while working on business in Worcester. Very impressed with the house one of the best we have stayed in and the owner was exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful also had some little touches (inc a decanter of whiskey!!) that while unneccesary made a big difference to our stay. good sized rooms and 3 bathrooms!! the kitchen area became our base with a large comfy sofa and a smart TV which had netflix and amazon tv to logon to. Fully fitted modern kitchen to cook the meals on a night time and large dining table. would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely time at Wisteria Lodge over Christmas. House was very clean and comfortable. The owner, Ashley, was very attentive and helpful during and leading up to the booking. Sorted us out with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and was happy to go out of his way to help us even though it was the Christmas period. Lovely location in Inkberrow and a pub just opposite the house (no problems with noise though)
