If you are looking to keep the kids busy you can visit the Sealife Centre which is a short drive/walk away or if you wish to travel further the Tank Museum is approx. 30-minute drive along with Monkey world which is nearby. Corfe Castle is a national trust site which is a fantastic day out for all the family. Nearby to Weymouth is Portland, a place of natural beauty from its Portland Bill Lighthouse down to Chesil Beach where you can find the Olympic Sailing Academy and try your hand at some water sports including paddle boarding, sailing and many more.
