The village is very quiet and so suited us well, but it does not have any walkable local amenities certainly at this time of year. We did not want any anyway but this might not suit others! Lincoln, Louth, Horncastle and the coast are all interesting places and are easily accessible with excellent walking, good coffee shops and garden centres. The cottage was beautifully presented, including a Christmas tree and had an extensive welcome pack, which we really appreciated. It was very cold at night and it took us a little while to work out how to increase the heating, and we had to run the bath taps twice to fill the bath for a hot bath. However, this did not effect our enjoyment of the cottage and we would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone who likes period properties in first class condition. It was a real find.

Delightful cottage set in the Wolds affording easy access to Lincoln and all parts of the Wolds themselves and other parts of Lincolnshire. Comfortable and cosy cottage with a distinct historical flavour. We really enjoyed out stay here.

Nice cottage in village location, very low ceilings. Difficult access onto Station Road, traffic visiblity mirrors would be a great help.

The Thatch has great period character. Very enjoyable and comfortable. We’ve been coming on holiday to the UK for over 20 years and this is a cottage we will book again!
