This was our third visit to All ways. The location is perfect, being exactly halfway between Portreath on the north coast and Devoran on the south coast, both being within walking distance. Helston,Porthleven and the Lizard Peninsula are only a short drive away and there are lots of interesting walks around the Poldicearea. We found several places to eat and they were all very good. We will probably return as there are still areas we haven't explored.

cottage set in lovely garden but no village or local facilities 2 pubs but one closed road was very busy and no footpath made it impossible to walk with a dog disappointing location

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry that these guests were disappointed in the locality of our property. Scorrier is only a hamlet, but very well situated a mile from Redruth, with easy access to Truro (7 miles) and Chacewater village 1.5miles). The beach at Porthtowan is 3 miles away, & Perranporth, which allows dogs all year round, is 7 miles away. Our garden is 4 acres and we own adjoining woods with a public footpath running through them, which take you from the north coast to the south coast at Devoran. The Mineral Tramways bridle path passes our front gate. One of our two pubs was closed for a few weeks this summer because of a change of ownership.
