Set down a country lane, this detached, Mediterranean-style single-storey property holiday occupies a superb elevated position, commanding magnificent views over Chew Valley Lake and the surrounding countryside from the garden. It stands within the owners’ 3½-acre grounds, enjoying a lovely, shared garden with furniture. Close by are many natural and historic attractions, including the Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves and Glastonbury Tor. There are many recreational activities on offer locally, such as fishing at the Blagdon and Chew Valley lakes, approx ½ mile, walking through the Mendip Hills, golf at Wells and skiing in Churchill. Weston-super-Mare, 15 miles, for coastal attractions and beach. Bath, Glastonbury, Wells and Bristol nearby. Shop/PO and pub ½ mile.

    The views from the cottage were superb across to Chew Valley lake. Great for visiting Bath, Weston- Super- Mare, Wells and Glastonbury.

    A wonderful setting and location with amazing views,also so peaceful and quiet with lots of space for the children to play.we found it very good as a central location for Cheddar and Glastonbury.The owners were wonderful too and very accommodating and friendly and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone amazing.
