A really lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful village. Close to lots of places to walk and places to visit. The owner was very welcoming and the cottage was warm and had everything we needed. We are already planning a return visit. I would strongly recommend this property for an escape from the hustle and bustle of life.

A lovely cosy little cottage only a 10 minute drive from bakewell, some great walks right on the door step so no need to drive anywhere. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

A lovely cosy cottage, in peaceful surroundings. We took our dog away for 4 nights, ( Nov. 2 - 6th.) to escape the noise of fireworks. He is terrified of them. Eileen made us very welcome and supplied us with milk and Bakewell tarts on arrival. There are plenty of interesting places to visit, including the Nine Ladies Stone Circle just up the road. There are 2 pubs in the village and we ate at both. Would recommend the Red Lion, but not the Druid Inn, for food.

This property was just perfect for our needs. Eileen made us very welcome and was most helpful. Everything about the holiday was just great. Loved the ponies too. Our dog had a great time too.

We had a lovely break here and would thoroughly recommend it. Eileen made sure we were happy without being intrusive. The cottage has all you need and is very comfortable. The situation is ideal for seeing the Peak District. There are lovely walks and views from the cottage and Romeo, my Cocker Spaniel, and me had a lovely morning walk away from traffic. If you want a quiet break with all the amenities you need then you cannot beat this little cottage. We also had the adjoining cottage, Boskin Cottage, for my sister and she had a wonderful time too!
