Lovely peaceful well equipped cottage, the car parking arrangements were not too much of an issue. Nice village with lots of countryside and cliff top walks. Both village pubs are nice, only ate in the Smugglers Inn which was excellent. Nice welcoming treats for us and the dog! Overall a very nice stay. The bed was a bit soft for me and the wife, but mattress firmness is a personal issue anyway! Would happily recommend the Snug.

This is a small property on the ground floor of an annex to the owner's house - ie one of their rooms is above you. You are also surrounded by other houses. It is ideal therefore for those wanting to use it as a base but plan to be out all day. It was faultless in its presentation and had every item you would need. Hot water and equipment were great and the owners very friendly. I hadn't realised that there is no parking with the property. We were lucky over the festive season to get a parking space on a couple of occasions in the village car park. The internet connection was also seemed to be sporadic as well as being somewhat slow. But this is coastal Kent.

The Snug. Was a perfect place to stay for the tw o of us and our dog. It was well equipped and clean. A quiet location but within short walk of shop and restaurant. Parking car in car park was not too much of an inconvenience. Area great for White Cliffs walk, Deal and Sandwich. A fellow dog walker directed us to local Rec for morning dog walk off lead.

We stayed at The Snug two years ago and we were so comfortable and liked it so much that we decided to return this year. It is really like a home from home and so well furnished, with everything you could possibly need, nothing has been forgotten. The owners are very kind and helpful but not intrusive in any way. It is a lovely area too and there is lots to see and within short driving distance. We can thoroughly recommend this cottage.
