We stayed at The Smith the first week of May 2018. It was better than we expected. a picture perfect cottage with a delightful enclosed garden which was perfect for the dog. Everything you could possibly need for your holiday was provided including a lovely welcome pack (with cake!!!) and biscuits for the dog. The cottage was immaculately presented and there were loads of nice touches. We couldnt fault it. Thank you to the owners. Our only (very minor) observation is that Newton in Furness is very tiny (although lovely) with little of interest to look at. Having said that, it was beautifully quiet without the hoards of people you would find in the more popular Lakeland villages. No problems trying to park the car or enjoy the peace. From that point then it was great for us but might not suit everyone. We wouldnt think twice about going back.

Just perfect for us thank you. In the area on business, great to have a place where you can relax at the end of the day. Mobile signal wasn't great but 'every cloud' eh?
