We had a wonderful time :-) After Months with lots of Work etc. we were able to relax in our holiday at the sheiling. The Cabin is so cosy and comfy that we didn't have to worry when the weather was bad. Then we spend our time with cooking, reading and playing cards. The accommodation is well equipped with everything you need and is located next to Anthony's Gardens, where he plants vegetables. He was very friendly and we felt in good hands. We would love to come again :-) Thank you so much for this beautiful place!

The sheiling is our happy place, we love it here, the views are outstanding, the host Anthony is very friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, we can not fault the place, unfortunately we had to leave half way through our holiday for personal reasons, so will be looking forward to going back again next year, the Sheiling is very romantic and cosy. The log burner makes it extra special.

The cottage was more remote than we had envisaged, and being in our ‘golden’ years’ we found the terrain rather challenging, as we had not experienced life in rural areas of Scottish islands before, therefore we chose not to drive at night. Having said that, the cottage was delightful - warm, comfortable and well equipped, and our host was very helpful and friendly. The location of the cottage above the loch was gorgeous, even though we did not enjoy the best of weather sadly.

The Sheiling is beautifully designed and wonderfully positioned. The views are amazing. The wooded path down to the beach is a delight. The rocky cove it takes you to is perfect, quiet, with rock pools to explore, and the loch to watch. We saw and heard many birds and a family of dolphins frolicking up the loch. Such a joy. We experienced peace and rest and beauty. Just what we needed.
