Great cottage including a feature wall gas fire, off street parking (on a steep drive) and more parking on the street. Sitting area, dining area and kitchen all in open plan downstairs. Bathroom has both bath and shower cubicle. Useful for having a baby and travel cot and high chair provided. Village shop nearby, and hosts already gave us loads of things like fresh bread, butter, milk. Nb. A long drive through narrow lanes to Thorncombe, though it was very pretty.

This is a delightful 'cottage' to stay in and comes highly recommended.

This is a lovely conversion into a self contained section of the School House. It was spotlessly clean, everything had been thought about including a welcome pack of bread milk and butter and a tin of food for the dog. We only met owners on arrival but they said they were available if we needed them. We didn't, it was all perfect. It's in a lovely village setting, however the lanes to the coast are a test, very narrow, very bendy so limited vision and very limited passing places. It was not a problem for me , but my wife hated it and nervous drivers would get very distressed. Countering that the walks close to cottage are great. We had a superb time.

As soon as we walked in the door of the School Room we knew it was the ideal place for peace and quiet and all the decor so appropriate for an ideal home from home. The owners obviously have taken so much trouble to give their guests a first class experience added to the attractive surroundings of the village.

Absolutely amazing. Very relaxed after our holiday. If possible will definitely go back :)
