Within the comments about the 'Local Amenities' I have given only a 9, this would have been up to a 10 if details were available as to how to locate the Tesco store within Ludlow.

WiFi unstable and needs some work, otherwise, a pleasant and well equipped property in a quiet and yet not remote location. Would be happy to stay again.

The cottage is in an ideal location if you wish to visit Ludlow and the surrounding area. The cottage was well equipped, with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The lounge looks out over a very pretty garden area. The owners were very welcoming and friendly.

Well located to explore Shropshire. Perfect for escaping the busy modern world. No mobile phone signal and minimal internet connection. Very welcoming host with some nice touches (food essentials, bottle of wine all complementary). Great for recharging the batteries.

We booked a last minute break for thenEaster weekend. The roost was well equipped, clean and had everything we needed. Julie was so welcoming and the welcome pack was brilliant we even had hot cross buns. We did some amazing local walks with the dog and as the property is close to Ludlow we had some lovely pub meals out. Would definitely return if visiting the area again.

The Roost was very comfortable and ideally located. The owners were on hand but not obtrusive. The cottage was very clean, the bed very comfortable and all the resources worked. There was a lack of dishwasher, oven apart from a combination microwave and adequate clothes drying . In fairness, you are aware of all this prior to arrival. You get what you pay for and on this basis I can thoroughly recommend the roost.
