Absolutely gorgeous house in an absolutely stunning part of the world. Some really nice touches from the owners - the pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived was much appreciated and the view over the river is beautiful. We'll be returning, no doubt!

2nd visit by us and it was as excellent a stay as last time. Lovely place to stay and brilliant location to hike in the Lakes. The village has everything you could want and everyone is so friendly. We'll definitely come back

It was mine and my husbands honeymoon holiday destination. We were made to feel very welcome straight away as we had received a visit from the owner on the first night to make sure we had arrived safely and we were happy with everything at the cottage. The Pump House has a lovely homely feel to it, and perfect for a romantic get away. It's also located within an idyllic village including local shops that have your everyday amenities available, and near by pubs if you wish for a lunch or evening tea out. Fantastic holiday and we will be back again next year.
