Having stayed prior the owners are still amazingly friendly&welcoming!! No question BUT THE EXCEPTIONALLY RUN DOWN DETERIORATED INTERIOR,&FURNITURE&NOR ONE COMFORTABLE CHAIR OR SEAT THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING HAS TO USE OWN …CAMPING CHAIR!? Throughout stay THE KITCHEN CUPBOARD EXTERIOR DOORS ARE COMING AWAY FROM DOORS THE CARPETS/RUGS THROUGHOUT…ARE BOTH FILTHY&THREADBARE THE WHOLE PLACE NEEDS UPDATING &DESPERATELY NEEDS TLC& REDECORATING ASAP THE LIGHTS &LAMPS ARE ALL DODGY& TIRED & ONE …ONLY WORKING SPOTLIGHT IN SHOWER On the whole if the owners were not so welcoming &accommodating I would not ….recommend in all honesty paying the massive increases in rental from last stay With the whole property outdated, deteriorated unclean& furniture unacceptable as nowhere is comfy Not even the bed It’s a lot of expensive to be in the middle of nowhere To be so uncomfortable To have to feel the need to clean properly Just To enjoy a friendly reception initially Other than that The grounds it sits on is tranquil, peaceful& quite stunning

Quiet peaceful location. Great spot for touring the area. Good walks. Dog safe garden. Interesting story about the property. Hospitable welcome. Would definitely recommend and return. Sofas well used and could do with updating and kitchen units a little worn.

What an amazing place to stay - a castle! We felt very welcome at the Pavilion and the host and her family could not be more accommodating. It is a great tranquil location but close to lots of towns and attractions. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. We definitely hope to return to The Pavilion.
