This property is part of our Welcome Cottages collection

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

With a garden room and a study, this holiday property offers plenty of space for holidaymakers wishing to tour the charming Cotswolds.

Spacious and well-appointed, this detached property is situated in the scenic Cotswold village of Bledington, within the Evenlode Valley and close to the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire border. The village is on the Oxfordshire Way, a 68-mile long distance walk stretching from Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire to Henley-on-Thames in Buckinghamshire. Bledington has it own annual three-day music festival in the summer, when morris dancers can be seen in the village centre. The village makes a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Close by are Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Witney, Bicester with its expanding designer outlet shopping village, Banbury, and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock. Slightly further afield are Cheltenham, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon. The railway station at Kingham is only 1 mile away with connections to Worcester, Hereford, Paddington in London, and Birmingham, so you can leave the car behind if you prefer. Electric bikes can be hired from Kingham, 2 miles away. Shop 2½ miles, pub/restaurant 400 yards.

Wonderful cottage really enjoyed our stay. If I had to be picky there were no hooks to hang up coats and the porch would not lock, which we could have used perhaps for dirty shoes/boots. Other than these small points it was delightful and we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely house, very clean & comfortable. Excellent central location to places of interest. The only slight drawback was lack of local shop, for everyday needs.

Lovely cosy cottage in a quiet rural area, a short drive from Stow on the Wold. Would not hesitate to make a return visit.
