The local shop was closed, not as described on web site. approach to cottage through a housing estate was off putting although views from cottage was excellent.

Spent two nights here as we wanted to visit Bath, but didn’t want to stay in the centre. The approach to the cottage is, to be honest, not the best, as you drive through a housing estate , but it is at the far end and the views are lovely. The cottage is attached to the owners house and the plot is shared with the owners family in a separate house, so a shared garden too, but they were very friendly, and there was no problem noise wise. The cottage was lovely, very clean and modern, with everything you’d need, and a very welcome ‘welcome pack’! ( There are no shops within easy walking distance) The bathroom is modern, a bit on the small side, but not a problem for a short stay, and the towels provided were good quality and fluffy!! We left the car there for both days as the walk to the local pubs ( ate at The Bathampton Mill) was easy, and we enjoyed the walk in to Bath along the canal too. All in all would recommend this cottage as a good base to explore Bath.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the annexe. Generally the cottage was comfortable and well equipped, we did however find the bed far to soft, not at all good for our backs! Access to the cottage is not always easy with so many cars parked on the roadside in the estate as you approach. The bus service was regular and reliable, a very good way to get into Bath. There was however no village shop, locals said it closed some time ago. There were some lovely walks along the canal, and the George by the canal bridge served good food and drinks.

We had a lovely stay here. Loved how we could leave the car and walk the canal into bath. Lovely little pub a short walk away. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped for everything we needed for the few days we stayed. Would love to return.

We found everything we needed in the cosy surrounds of the Annex for a comfortable break. The fact we could leave the car and walk the canal route into bath was great and two pubs in walking distance was a plus.

It was amazing!!! Walked into the city and got taxi back. The couple were really nice who owned the place. Would stay again, already planning when we would go. I would happily live in the annexe to be honest. Felt very safe at all times. Could not fault
