The bungalow is dated but well equipped and warm. Double bed very comfortable. It is in a lovely location especially if you have a dog. The key holders are very welcoming and left some treats for us and dog. Direct beach access not repaired yet but a cliff top walk gets you to the next point in 30 mins.

our stay at this cottage was our second visit. we fell in love with Happisburgh because of its' proximity to the beach.. unfortunately on this visit discovered ramp no longer there.we hope North Norfolk C Council will try to rectify this soon we know it is a problem along that coast & so many holiday makers visit the area. Carte Gap beach is a short walk along cliff edge, nice beach, and good concrete sea defences. With regard to the cottage itself.. although it is rated 3* we felt it was not very clean, and in particular the bathroom, very poor shower power etc. need attention, i.e. cleansing & re-masticating, and especially the shower en-suite in back bedroom I found so revolting couldn't use it and bathed instead, such a shame as love my daily shower. Bedding, no problems there comfy beds & clean. Caretakers do what they can. Fresh milk, & nice biscuits left for us, and for four legged friend.

Great place to stay with the dog. Lovely secure garden for Pip and great beach walks and dog friendly pubs. Will definitely return.

The location was lovely and Elaine was very friendly and welcoming however the cottage could really benefit from some tlc and updating. The double bed was very uncomfortable as were the living room sofa and chairs.
