The area abounds with wildlife and visitors can take a leisurely stroll through magnificent woodland gardens at nearby Benmore Botanic Gardens. Further afield there are day excursions to Inveraray, Oban and Loch Lomond. Shops 100 yds.

    Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Couldn't fault it and the only negative was not staying longer. Saw Dolphins every day which was a bonus

    We loved the Old Ticket Office and Blairmore, we will be back. The accommodation was excellent with it’s picture windows looking out on the loch towards the hills on the other side with their twinkling lights at night. A fascinating range of boats sailed past and the wild life was unbelievable. We saw gannets, many types of finches, dolphins, deer in the park over the road on two occasions and a couple of rabbits. It is a very quiet, calming location and to top it all there is an excellent café and gallery over the road. It also has easy access to Dunoon and many more beautiful places.

    Excellent will be back only thing it's not a complaint but free wifi and a bigger tv would have been fab all in all it was excellent.

    We have stayed at The Old Ticket Office a number of times now and we feel that it is due a face lift, nothing major, just some general maintenance etc. It is a wonderful little cottage in an amazing part of the world and we will certainly return, just keep on top of it Agnes.

    A beautifully restored and refurbished historical building. Friendly welcome from the owner. The cottage is situated in a spectacular location right on the shore of Loch Long. A variety of wildlife can be seen in and over the Loch and even the occasional submarine or warship! Well situated to explore the national park and other lochs in the area. A peaceful location for a relaxing week.

    We love this cottage. The owner is extremely helpful. The locals are very friendly. It is the best equipped cottage we have stayed in. The area is beautiful. We will be back!
