This cosy, single-storey holiday cottage, owned by the National Trust, nestles in a peaceful corner in the village of Buckden. This cosy hideaway for two is situated close to the tumbling stream of Buckden Beck, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage makes an ideal base from which to explore this super part of the Dales, especially for keen walkers. Enjoy the glorious surrounding countryside or venture out and visit the popular villages of Kettlewell, famed for the movie ’Calendar Girls’, and Grassington, well known for its summer festival and winter Dickensian weekends, normally held for three Saturdays just before Christmas. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
