The Old School was very cosy, comfortable and full of character. It had everything we needed; a spacious, cosy lounge, a well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Along with the pub across the village green serving delicious meals it was just right for a relaxing weekend away.

The Old School provided a well-equipped, comfortable base from which to explore the Eden Valley. We found interesting walks straight from the house.

A very warm, well-equipped cottage. Easy parking and walks from the door. Pennine Journey passes through the village. Winton is a small village with a pub, no shop but Kirkby Stephen is not far with all amenities. Great location for the North Pennines, Yorkshire dales. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return.
