The cottage is lovely, a bit creaky which adds to the charm. Very close to the cliffs so you get to enjoy the coves and beaches within minutes.

The cottage is very appealing with a particularly good complement of utensils etc. It was very useful having a small yard where we could let the dog out. Portknockie is a very quiet but beautiful location. We enjoyed the bird watching and eating the outstanding fish and chips from the local chippy. My only criticism would be that some of the fittings are rather tired. Both toilet seats were not fixed to the toilet properly and the fridge handle is broken.
