The owner, Clementina is very friendly and a marvellous host. Because she has lived here all of her life her knowledge of the area is very extensive. The location is wonderful and the grounds/garden are the very best. For those interested in birds and wildlife remember to take your binoculars. We have only scored Local Amenities as 6 because the Mill is quite remote. This is not a criticism because it is precisely what we wanted. The bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are quite steep. For anyone who has difficulty negotiating steep staircases be warned but for the majority this will not be an issue. All in all a wonderful place to stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others and if we want to stay in Somerset again we'll go back to The Old Mill.

We were greeted by the owner who gave us some lovely goodies to get us started on a great week at the beautiful old mill. It was an ideal location for us as we did a fair amount of travelling around the county. We would definitely recommend staying here as we were given ideas by our host of where to visit and all suggestions were good and helped make our holiday even better !

This was our second visit to this cottage & it was just as good as the first stay, it is perfect for relaxing or you can venture out & you feel very welcome by the owner, & some lovely bread & wine just to settle you in. Well recommended for a break away.

Great place to relax and chill. We got snowed in so could check much off the local amenities but when we did go out everywhere was great. Would definitely go back again.

We had a really nice time here. The owner was friendly and welcoming and was helpful with things to do in the local area. The only reason we have given a slightly lower score for local amenities is because it’s in the middle of the countryside, so there’s a little way to travel to shops etc if that’s what you want. We chose it specifically because it was more remote so it suited us.
