A lovely 'get away from it' break and a warm welcome from Clementina and the animals. Not really anything in the local village itself, but if you enjoy walking there are some lovely walks across the heart of the Somerset levels to local villages with great pubs and cafes. Plenty to do further afield if you want to get in the car.

The owner was very helpful and we were treated to lots of treats, fresh baked bread, lovley preserves, etc etc, mill itself was great, but local area was rather boring.

The owner, Clementina is very friendly and a marvellous host. Because she has lived here all of her life her knowledge of the area is very extensive. The location is wonderful and the grounds/garden are the very best. For those interested in birds and wildlife remember to take your binoculars. We have only scored Local Amenities as 6 because the Mill is quite remote. This is not a criticism because it is precisely what we wanted. The bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are quite steep. For anyone who has difficulty negotiating steep staircases be warned but for the majority this will not be an issue. All in all a wonderful place to stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others and if we want to stay in Somerset again we'll go back to The Old Mill.

We were greeted by the owner who gave us some lovely goodies to get us started on a great week at the beautiful old mill. It was an ideal location for us as we did a fair amount of travelling around the county. We would definitely recommend staying here as we were given ideas by our host of where to visit and all suggestions were good and helped make our holiday even better !
