Less than 10 minutes’ drive from the nearest sandy cove on the beautiful south Cornish coast, these two holiday cottages (refs GPB and GPC) are set in 4 acres of beautiful, peaceful gardens with pond, surrounding the owner’s Grade II listed manor house which has existed since 1066! This AONB offers excellent walking, with pretty beaches, sailing and river trips at Fowey (5 miles) and Mevagissey (11 miles). Sailing tuition is available at Fowey. Bird-watching and fishing at Luxulyan and on the Fowey river. Golf at Carlyon Bay (3 miles), horse riding and the old port of Charlestown and St Austell, all within 5 miles. Shop 1½ miles.

The Manor Wing (GPB) and The Linney (GPC) can be booked together to accommodate up to 8 guests.

External steps to stable door entrance on first floor: Fitted kitchen with TV/dining room. Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, shower attachment, toilet. Stairs to ground floor: Living room with feature fire, beams and patio doors to courtyard. Double bedroom with 5ft brass bed and two large patio doors to patio and grounds. Shower room, double shower cubicle and toilet.

    Lovely long weekend, the Linney was just right, very comfortable bed, spacious rooms and had everything we needed, super welcome on arrival. close to the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan meant the location was perfect, we would definitely stay again and recommend to others looking for a relaxing holiday 😊

    The hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. The accommodation was extremely clean and modern. It's situated in a very quiet spot, so you need to walk or drive to a local pub or shops. The directions to the house need to be amended - The filling station should be 'The Gulf' petrol station, NOT a Texaco petrol station. I strongly recommend staying in this house.

    Charming property in a beautiful location and setting. Very comfortable and relaxed. Owners (who live opposite) were amazingly helpful when our car hire company let us down and left us stranded with no car (it is a bit remote if you haven't got wheels!) Local area is fabulous - Par and Polkerris beaches are a matter of minutes and you're walking distance from Eden Project.

    We stayed at The Linney for one week for our wedding anniversary in June. We could not fault our time there at all. It is in a stunning location and the grounds are superbly maintained. The Linney is a quirky barn conversion that provides everything you would need to ensure your stay is comfortable. I will definitely re-book next year.

    Lovely cottage and owners on site. Very relaxing and dog friendly. Quiet location but close to Eden Project and dog friendly beaches.
