A wonderful stay with family for my 30th birthday! My 2 year old toddler particularly liked standing at the railings of the balcony shouting 'Hello' (with adult supervision of course). House was a lovely size and comfortable for 6 adults, 1 toddler and a crazy Vizsla who loved the garden space. Hot tub with the addition of fairy lights was magical. House is next to a road but quite remote so have to drive to places, opposite is a beautiful church. Log burner added to the cosiness. A great time had by all.

A really lovely cottage with everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday. Plenty of room outside for the dogs. Lovely hot tub which we used at least twice a day. Nearest shop was approx 3 miles but not a problem. Most noise at night was owls hooting. Loved our little holiday here and would highly recommend it 😀

Lovely grounds for dog and children to play and hot tub perfect for relaxing (need a net to remove bugs) quite location, good base to travel to surroundings. Only one negative found lack or wardrobe space, and mezzanine bedroom tight for adults.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your feedback. We will put a net by the hot tub - great idea we do it once a week but should have thought to leave one for guests too. We will look into the wardrobe space issue. So glad you had a lovely stay.

Great cottage however the beds could be more comfortable I would recommend a topper. Also it’s a shame that the local farmers have ploughed over most of the walking paths close to the cottage making local walks rather difficult. I would still give it an overall good score and would like to thank the owners for the lovely unexpected extras on arrival.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thanks for your comments. We have added more suggested walks. The paths are now walkable again, apologies for the inconvenience of some of them being ploughed.
