Mairwen and Dewi saved the day for my sister and I when we needed somewhere to stay at very short notice. They couldn’t have been more welcoming at a time when we needed it the most! The cottage is warm, cosy, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. Dewi ensured that the aga was attended to every day so that we were warm and toasty and the oil heater in the lounge is a very welcome addition. Nothing was too much trouble for Mairwen and Dewi. We even had the use of a very large field to walk my sister’s collie. The location was ideal for us; close enough to both the beach and local parks and castles et cetera. The cottage has the most remarkable views all around lending a sense of solitude. The Old Barn is a lovely place to stay and has a genuine, friendly family. Thank you 😊

Lovely cottage in amazing scenery. Mattresses on beds need replacing as springs very uncomfortable but the cottage is such a lovely place, it didn't spoil things at all.
