A lovely cottage which is a perfect location for a weekend away. Plenty of places to visit near by and the local area is beautiful.

This cottage has huge potential to be excellent. Sadly, the initial view on entering was of full dustbins, dirty, unusable garden furniture and peeling paintwork. Inside, children's books, toys (broken and incomplete) and puzzles were untidy and cobwebby. Built in cupboards were were untidy with tat. The kitchen was good, but equipment needed a complete sort. Bedrooms and linen were fine. The cottage is in an interesting village and very close to interesting places to visit. We'd love to return....but only if the cottage is given some 'love' and care. It is listed on several sites, but appears with different soft furnishings. Wifi ( listed as a feature) was non-existent .. The (absent) owner did try to help us over the phone, but it became clear that there was no dedicated wifi for the cottage...altogether a disappointing experience.

It's a very well equipped cottage but it would be helpful if those booking were informed that day to day access is up steps at the front of the house rather than through the French doors pictured (which are at the rear). This should be in an access statement as otherwise one could book and find out on arrival that the cottage is difficult to enter for someone in the party.

A lovely cottage in a friendly village with lots of amenities, however, with a little TLC(peeling paint over bath, bedframe, front door locks, outdoor furniture, freezer frosted up and full of someone else's food spilling out, a general lick of paint....) It could be top drawer!! Still enjoyed our week.

Lovely cottage in a fabulous area. Really great access to lots to do, all within a 30 minute drive. The cottage is really cosy. The double bed frame needs replacing as the centre beam is too low meaning that if there's two of you, occupants roll into the middle...not great for a good nights sleep. The internet doesn't really work either which was a shame as it was advertised with WiFi. Doesn't take away from a really lovely place though. Will definitely look at going back (once bed is fixed!)
