Great little cottage, and 2 minutes walk to Bolton Castle. This is a nice quiet conservation area kept clean and tidy. There are pubs a few miles away with great food. The larger towns like Leyburn and Hawes are about 9 miles away. The cottage has a garden front and back, and there was a hamper of goodies waiting for us,even biscuits for the dog. This is a place to relax and unwind.

Comfortable cottage in a stunning location. The welcome basket left by the owner was the most generous we have ever been given. Castle Bolton is tucked away in Wensleydale but not too far from the shops etc in Leyburn. The food available in local village pubs is very good, namely Redmire,Carperby,Muker and Reeth are all recommended.
