Come and enjoy The Old Brewery Cottages nestled within the historic and picturesque town of Pembroke within Pembrokeshire, and located directly opposite from Pembroke Castle, famous as the birthplace of King Henry VII where you can visit and take a step back in time and discover the rich history this area has to offer. There is a host of lovely eateries specialising in Pembrokeshire produce and some locally brewed ales to sample, along with gift shops and cafés all within walking distance. Here you can enjoy a small cluster of unique holiday cottages that have all been fully renovated in 2022 to their original charm and character, and enjoy a relaxing retreat, family adventure or a large celebration.
1 Cromwells Cottage is the perfect holiday retreat spread over three floors. The ground floor is home to your contemporary fitted kitchen/dining room, on the first floor enjoy your well furnished bedroom and bathroom, and on the second floor is a beautiful living space with large feature fireplace, original exposed wooden beams, vaulted ceilings and exposed stone walls - the perfect space to enjoy a cosy night in with a good movie.
Nearby, the bustling coastal resort of Tenby is well worth a visit and is scattered with numerous cafés, eclectic gift shops and highly acclaimed restaurants. Wander the narrow streets and visit the resort’s award-winning Harbour Beach, voted Europe’s number 1 beach due to its sheltered bay and clear waters and there are many beautiful award winning sandy beaches including Barafundle and Fresh West. . Take a boat trip ride from the tranquil harbour to the offshore island of Caldey and visit the Celtic Monastery and Cistercian Monks who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years.
The coastal path runs inland to Pembroke town along Pembroke river and to the castle mill pond and passes within 300 yards of the properties. Away from the coast, Pembrokeshire’s rolling countryside is just as promising and is dotted with numerous majestic sites waiting to be explored including Carew, Manorbier and Pembroke Castles, as well as the magnificent 12th-century cathedral and ruins of Bishops Palace, tucked away peacefully towards the north of the county at Britain’s smallest city of St Davids. A trip to the county would not be complete without a visit to the leisure attractions of Oakwood, Anna’s Welsh Zoo and Folly Farm. Beach 4 miles.
