If the following things are important to you then don't book a stay at The Old Barn: 1 - WiFi. It didn't work for our entire stay. There isn't a router or booster inside the barn which I am sure doesn't help. We had booked a cottage the specifically had WiFi because we acknowledge that we are 'those' people. And the cottage being in a dead spot for mobile signal, using our data wasn't an option either. We were completely unprepared for this. 2 - A good nights sleep. If you are at all prone to back or neck pain then the beds will not provide a good nights sleep. As there were only 2 of us in this 3 bedroom property, we did try different beds to see if that would help but sadly no. And one of the beds made a noise any time either us shifted our weight. 3 - Being able to watch TV comfortably. This one may not have been as much of an issue if the beds hadn't been a problem but neither my partner or I (and he is 6 inches taller than me) could sit comfortably and watch TV because of where it was placed. If none of those things are an issue for you then The Old Barn could provide a lovely base for you. It is spacious enough for the family to visit and I can see how it would be great for a dog too. The kitchen is a good size and is well stocked with cooking equipment. There is also a laundry room and a large bathroom with both a good sized bath and separate good sized, and reasonably powerful shower. The location is a bit out of the way, but that is what we were expecting so that was no issue. The closest pub, 'The Lighthouse', which although not recommended in the welcome pack at the cottage was actually excellent. The landlord was very welcoming to us and gave us some tips for the best local National Trust places. Oh and the leaflets in the cottage were wildly out of date so I collected a new set and left them there for future guests. I hope you find them useful!

Great place well equipped for any thing you could want. Especially the entertainment. central for exploring Norfolk coast. Only thing letting the place down is the damp smell from the bathroom.quiet over powering.

A lovely, very spacious cottage equipped with everything you could possibly need. We found it to be clean and tidy. Dogs are made welcome and access to the shared paddock is very handy, though not secure enough for them to be off lead if you own escape artists as we do. The front door is very low however, the patio doors could be used instead so we didn't find it a problem. Well situated but it is on a main road so be aware there is road noise, again it did not bother us too much. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The accommodation is large and spacious with a very good sized kitchen and bathroom. However our stay was overshadowed with the barn being next to the road and the noise from passing traffic was intrusive. Both the double bedrooms have mould on the wall/ceiling and the mattress in the bedroom nearest the lounge was in need of replacement. The shower cubicle had a large amount of mould round the base. Finally we felt the barn had a musty smell

Great holiday place and the owners very friendly and helpful. Court yard ideal for dogs, though the fields are not suitable to let the dogs off lead. Bed mattresses uncomfortable and would benefit from being replaced. Shower unit was covered in mould.

We had a super time at the Old Barn. It is very well appointed and very comfortable. We would highly recommend a stay here.

The WiFi did not connect at all, I would of liked a washing line and pegs instead of having to use a tumble drier. The beds were small as only doubles, and you need to go everywhere in a car. On the plus side, nice layout and spacious, good kitchen and large bathroom if a little tired.
