This was the best holiday cottage we’ve ever stayed in...and we’ve stayed in quite a few! Superbly equipped, spotlessly clean, and in a beautiful countryside location. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Lovely, clean, well equipped cottage, good size hot tub. Lovely touch with the welcome pack and other little extras provided like salt and pepper, dishwasher tablets etc. Main down fall was single track roads to the cottage and could do with installing wi fi. But overall had a good week and would recommend the Old Barn.

Excellent property with friendly welcoming owners. Very well equipped and clean. Hot Tub well maintained and a good size for 6 people. We stayed for New Year with friends and had an excellence time. Huntsman’s Inn was a lovely pub in Galstay if you fancy a drink after a short walk. Ripon and Harrogate both an easy drive. Shop in nearby village wasn’t very good so make sure you bring everything you need although you can always take drive to Ripon.
