The Nook ideally suited our requirements as it allowed us to bring our lovely standard poodle with us. The cottage warm and Margaret had equipped it with everything needed for a few days break or a longer stay - next time I will be sure to travel much lighter! However, we did find the bed a bit snug, but hey it was just for 3 nights. One of the mornings we took Teddy for a walk down to the Tyrley locks - 5 minutes away - and enjoyed watching the barges goes through. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cosy cottage in quiet peaceful surroundings. Just the little short break we needed. We went for some lovely walks along the canal and tried several of the pubs in the local area. If trying to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday then most pubs seemed to stop serving food at 7pm but we found this great little chinese takeaway. Lots of places locally were dog friendly.
