The cottage was in a great location and the owner was lovely. Kenmare was a beautiful town and only takes 10/15 minutes to get to walking. Excellent also for Rings of Kerry and Beara as is located on the routes.

The cottage had a really nice, roomy feel to it and it felt like home from home. Parking was great as we could just park outside. The cottage felt a bit cold at first, but we switched on the storage heaters and the heat then started to warm up the rooms 12 hours later. There was also a very welcoming fan heater in the bathroom. The kitchen/dining area was a great entertainment area. The bed and bedroom was really huge and there was plenty of room for a couple to hang up their clothes, coats etc. as well as storing all of their clothes. Hannah had kindly left us a lot of milk and butter, which was ample for our 8 night stay. The fridge, microwave and cooker also came in very useful.
