We had a very enjoyable break staying at the Maltings. I have scored 10 for each of the ratings as it was just what we wanted. I have scored a 10 for local amenities, although there is only a pub within the local area again that is what we wanted. A super place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Would definitely return next year.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Perfect area to get away from the city. Perfect for a dog as the outside area is large and completely enclosed. The wood burner was stunning and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

A lovely cottage in a remote location. Don’t expect to be able walk to much other than countryside from the cottage as it’s not close to anything other than a couple of other cottages/farm buildings - that is exactly what we wanted so it was perfect for us. 5 minutes drive to the beach, 20 minutes to the edge of the lakes. Plenty of other countryside local. Local pub worth a visit, it’s a short drive. Very well equipped cottage with everything needed for catering in the kitchen and nice comfy sofa’s. It was autumn when we went and we certainly appreciated the wood burner, it kept the place very warm and cosy. Outside there is a very large garden that would be very pleasant in warmer weather.

The cottage was well equipped, clean and tidy with plenty of outside space for our grandchild and dog to run around in. Very secure garden too. Plenty of beaches within a few minutes drive. We found the coast road the best route to access larger towns for supermarkets.

A great holiday cottage. The owners have thought of everything one could possibly need. Indoors was spacious and very comfortable and outdoors provides both relaxing sitting areas and a huge lawned area for ball games etc. Highly recommended !

This was a wonderful break for us. The owners have let this cottage for many years and they clearly have refined their offering over the years. There is great attention to detail and the place feels very cared for. The wood burner is a delight and the small extra sitting works well for some children to do other things. The garden was huge and very well secured so our dog had a marvellous time! We loved it - thank you.
