lovely cottage and fabulous hosts, with everything we could need. Close to Ebbsfleet for a day trip to Brussels which was excellent, though I would recommend booking your tickets as far in advance as you can to get the best price, I paid £85 return for each of us, but have to say it was well worth it. To help getting around buy 24hr underground tickets when you get there as this lets you go all over the city. We would recommend getting the metro to Brosse and going to the Grand Place, include a visit to Hard Rock Café in the corner of the Place. Close to the A2 & M20 with so much to do in the area. Dover Castle is a definite recommend as are the war time tunnels, though be warned there is quite a bit of walking.

The cottage suited us well, however we did feel a little like ghosts in the night as the hosts did not check in on us at all to see how we were getting on. We booked for 7 nights but only stayed 6 and I don't think they would have noticed whether we were there or not.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are a bit puzzled by your feedback as your family helped you check in to the lodge and we spoke to them and they said you were very happy with the peaceful pleasant surroundings. We are always available should customers want to chat, however most of our customers value their privacy and do not like to be disturbed. A Bed and Breakfast accommodation where you can get daily interaction may be more suited to your needs.

The Lodge was ideal for touring outer London, we visited many attraction all within 10 miles. It is very comfortable, private and surrounded by a beautiful garden all within a secure location. It has quick and easy access to major road for those wishing to travel further. This is the first lodge we have stayed in and is as good as any small cottage. If we were to visit this area again this would be our first choice.

A lovely place, so pretty. Spotlessly clean. Only criticism is the size of the towels which were tiny. And the shutter outside the bedroom window creaked all night and disturbed our sleep.
