The Lodge is set in the glorious Suffolk countryside, 15 minutes away from Suffolk Water Park, perfect for small families.

Set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, equal distance from both Needham Market and Stowmarket, this fabulous log cabin has a beautiful feel and smell of wood from the moment you step in the door. Surrounded by its mature lawn garden, with wonderful views over the nearby walks and countryside. Sit back and relax on the open balcony and enjoy views of the small creek and the grazing horses in neighbouring paddocks. Visitors may see ‘Cat’ within the gardens, a local cat that has taken home within the neighbouring barn. Just a 15-minute drive from Suffolk Water Park, a great place for fishing and with a lovely restaurant serving good food. You’ll be within easy reach of Constable Country with its many beautiful walks, plenty of historic villages to visit, and where the famous artist John Constable painted. The well-equipped log cabin was acquired from Finland, built to a good standard and furnished with beautiful Moroccan and Indian influence, to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation. The cabin is eco-friendly with underfloor heating by an air heat source system. The market town of Stowmarket has a large street market every Thursday and Saturday that offers a wide range of stalls including food, flowers, arts and crafts. It is a vibrant town with lots of pubs, restaurants and things to do including the award-winning Museum of East Anglian Life and The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts. The pretty conservation village of Needham Market has a good range of independent shops and pubs for all to enjoy. The Suffolk Heritage Coast offers a traditional British seaside outing in the towns of Felixstowe, Southwold and Aldeburgh. Ipswich is perfect for a day of shopping or visiting the marina, which is surrounded by bars, restaurants and cafés. Famous for its undulating landscape, Suffolk is ideal for cycling and walking with marked trails and routes surrounding the property. It is conveniently situated to explore the many delights of East Anglia, and there is also a train station for trips to Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and London. Beach 30 miles.
